All timers from the classes of 1972 to 2012 are in attendance to induct six more into the Hall.
Fifty members of the Baseball Hall of Fame are in attendance today at the induction ceremony for Joe Torre, Bobby Cox, Tony La Russa, Frank Thomas, Greg Maddux, and Tom Glavine.
Hall of Fame broadcaster Gary Thorn introduced the Hall members in the crowd. The list included, in rough order of induction:
Sandy Koufax, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, Bob Gibson, Hank Aaron, Frank Robinson, Juan Marichal, Brooks Robinson, Lou Brock, Billy Williams, Johnny Bench, Rod Carew, Ferguson Jenkins, Gaylord Perry, Rollie Fingers. Tom Seaver, Reggie Jackson, Steve Carlton, Jim Bunning, Tommy Lasorda, Phil Niekro. Don Sutton, George Brett, Orlando Cepeda, Nolan Ryan, Robin Yount, Carlton Fisk, Tony Perez, Dave Winfield,Ozzie Smith, Eddie Murray, Dennis Eckersley, Paul Molitor, Wade Boggs, Cal Ripken, Jr., Goose Gossage, Rickey Henderson, Jim Rice, Andre Dawson, Whitey Herzog, Roberto Alomar, Bert Blyleven, Pat Gillick, and Barry Larkin.
Unlike the All-Star Game, there was an obituary reel for Ralph Kiner and Tony Gwynn. It was paralleled by a moment of silence at the actual event.
