Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: James Jones

James Jones has really slowed down since the first three weeks. Can he salvage anything for his fantasy owners?

It looked like the Oakland Raiders had a nice signing with receiver James Jones based on the first two weeks, when he caught 12 balls for 146 yards and two scores.

Well, quarterback Derek Carr is certainly no Aaron Rodgers. Jones has been awful with just 73 yards combined over his last three games. He'll have a tough time turning it around against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. The lack of production actually pushed Jones to the No. 3 guy on the depth chart, and he did not start.

The Chiefs haven't allowed multiple touchdowns to any receiving corps all season, and they're likely going to have a lot of success in putting pressure on Carr. Jones should have a lot of trouble getting loose in this game.

Fantasy impact: Perhaps the Raiders just wanted to mix it up, but it's pretty clear Jones is not worth a roster spot in fantasy. There isn't enough upside in standard leagues, so find someone else.
