Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 12: Anthony Fasano still not worth adding

Fasano came up with touchdown on Thursday night, but it's a rare occurrence when that happens. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Kansas City Chiefs offense continued to spread the ball around in the passing game as Alex Smith completed a pass to nine different targets in Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders. Anthony Fasano only caught two passes on Thursday night, but he managed to score on a 19-yard reception late in the third quarter to improve his stat line.

Fasano caught both of his targets from Smith for 30 yards. He now has three touchdowns and 22 receptions on the year.

Fantasy impact: If you're looking to stream tight ends going forward, Fasano is not the option you're looking for. With 10 targets over the past four games, he isn't seeing nearly a high enough volume to warrant starting in any matchup.

Fasano does have two touchdowns in his past three games, which might start to entice fantasy owners a bit. Still, Travis Kelce is the No. 1 receiving tight end, and Fasano will mix in here and there with a score. He's too sporadic to justify owning.
