Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 12: Michael Floyd

The Cardinals wide receiver is coming off a productive game. Can he keep it going in Week 12?

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd has had a rough go of it this season. After many pegged the third-year man as a breakout candidate, Floyd has been quite the disappointment this season. He's coming off his first productive game (2 catches for 54 yards and two touchdowns) since Week 7 and hasn't topped 55 yards receiving since Week 3. Floyd has caught two or less passes in half of his games this year and was shutout out Week 8. The two-touchdown performance was pleasant surprise but provides little reason to trust him going forward.

Fantasy Impact: Things won't get any easier for Floyd this week. The Cardinals will take on the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. To no one's surprise, their "Legion of Boom" secondary gives up the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Floyd is in store to see plenty of shutdown cornerback Richard Sherman. He's a desperation flex play and there is no reason to trust him in starting line ups this week.
