It hasn't been a great night for the Flyers defenseman.

The Philadelphia Flyers are down 2-0 to the New York Rangers and, to top it all off, they can't get out of each other's way.

With under 30 seconds to play in the second period, goalie Steve Mason went behind his net to play the puck and had teammate Braydon Coburn and Rangers forward Tanner Glass giving chase. That's when things got dicey.

Initially it appeared Glass tripped up Mason and the Flyers netminder was doing his darnedest to try and draw a penalty. After all, Mason fell to the ice awkwardly and was down long enough to get the referee to stop play.

Ah, but sometimes our eyes fool us and instead it was Coburn who made contact with Mason.

Coburn did his best to try to slip past Mason, but wound up making contact with Mason's head. Mason stayed in the game for the closing seconds and returned to start the third period.
