Argentina are expected to overwhelm Iran as one of the tournament favorites gear up for their second game.
Argentina should face an easy game against Iran as they look to build up steam in the 2014 World Cup.
Argentina were slightly disappointing in only narrowly defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina, but with much of their poor play blamed on the 5-3-1-1 that the team started with, the Argentina manager has promised a return to 4-3-3 for the game against minnows Iran. With that and the fact that Lionel Messi showed that he may be ready to display his best form at a World Cup after his stunning goal in the first game, Argentina have reason to be optimistic.
Iran played out a dour 0-0 draw with Nigeria in their opening game, which keeps their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive. They will probably be hoping for something similar versus Argentina, so this is likely to be a game of attack versus defense. Any neutrals watching should be hoping for an early Argentina goal, because otherwise, this is likely to be one-way traffic for the entire game.
