Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Jamaal Charles

Jamaal Charles has been excellent all year and he's looking at a big game against the Oakland Raiders in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles has been solid this season, but he didn't have a huge game (by his standards) until Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks. Charles was the offensive MVP in that game, carrying the ball 20 times for 159 yards and a two touchdowns on the day.

Kansas City won that game, 24-20. It was Charles' highest yardage total of the season, though he has eclipsed 90 yards three other times this year. Charles is the lead back in Kansas City's fourth-ranked rushing offense, with 133 carries for 692 yards and eight touchdowns. On Thursday, the Chiefs will take on the Oakland Raiders, their AFC West rivals. Oakland ranks 27th in the league with 129.8 rushing yards allowed per game.

Fantasy Impact: Charles may be one of the most attractive starting options at the running back position this week. He's worth a start most weeks, but this week especially. Fantasy owners need to start him without further question. He'll have a big game.
