Kyle Rudolph is practicing in full and seems ready to go for Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.
Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is practicing in full this week, according to Ben Goessling of ESPN. Rudolph had sports hernia surgery and was forced to miss six games. His first game back from said injury was Sunday's matchup against the Chicago Bears, and he did not record a reception. That said, Rudolph only played in about 30 percent of the team's offensive snaps.
The Vikings instead went with Chase Ford as their primary tight end while Rudolph eases back into things. Going forward, he should pick up more playing time as he regains his starting role. Then, he should be seeing plenty of targets as he came into this season with a fair amount of hype. Minnesota will play the Green Bay Packers in Week 12, which is a tough matchup.
Fantasy Impact: Rudolph made it through Sunday's game and Wednesday's practice without any setbacks. He'll continue to practice in full and should be good to go against the Packers in Week 12. That said, it's hard to recommend him as a must-start candidate or anything. He'll still be raw and the Packers present a tough matchup.
