Hint: neither of them is the Charlotte Horcats.
After Wednesday's loss, LeBron James now has a 14-20 career record against the Spurs, including the playoffs (three Finals series). But did you know he also has losing records against two other NBA franchises? Feast your eyes.
LeBron's teams have a 10-11 record against the Rockets, but the Nuggets take the cake here. LeBron is just 9-13 all-time against Denver. Two more West teams have .500 records against LeBron: the Mavericks at 14-14 (thanks to that Finals win) and the Seattle SuperSonics at 4-4. (Yep, we're still considering the Sonics a separate franchise completely when possible. For what it's worth, LeBron is an incredible 13-4 against the Thunder.)
LeBron has of course played against East team much more frequently than West teams. Thanks to some playoff battles, the team LeBron has beaten the most in his career: the Pacers against whom he has 38 wins (and 22 losses). Close behind is Detroit (37-21). He's faced the Celtics the most (62 times), but has a 34-28 record against them.
That 12-1 record against the Cavaliers as a Heatian marks the best winning percentage LeBron has against any franchise (92 percent), but I find his 34-5 all-time record against the Horcats (that'd be the Hornets né Bobcats) to be more impressive. That's an 87 percent winning percentage over three dozen matches.
To pre-emptively answer a question: this only counts games in which LeBron played.
