The jerseys honor Jackie Robinson West, the Chicago team that made it to the finals of the Little League World Series and stole our little hearts away. Without checking, this has to be the first time a major league team has intentionally invited comparisons to a little league team, so the Cubs were an excellent choice.

It certainly is a crowd-pleasing idea. Bonus points for needling the White Sox and appropriating the feel-good story from their side of Chicago.
