The Saints receiver will miss the opening week. We break down the fantasy implications.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Kenny Stills has already been ruled out and won't play in the team's Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons. He is listed questionable on the official injury report but he won't suit up for opening week.
Fantasy Impact: With Stills out of the picture this week, receivers Joe Morgan and rookie first-round pick Brandin Cooks project as the biggest beneficiaries. However, they offer limited upside with Marques Colston still locked in as a starter and Jimmy Graham as the No. 1 overall fantasy tight end. Running back Pierre Thomas will also be in the mix after he caught a career-high 77 passes last season.
Cooks is the receiver that offers the most upside after Colston. He consistently drew rave reviews throughout training camp and could see more snaps if he can establish himself as a reliable option for quarterback Drew Brees. Owners shouldn't get ahead of themselves though. He's a mid-range WR4 with upside.
