Gerard Pique, you can't do that! The Barcelona clearly stuck his arm out to block a Marcelo cross on this 34th minute attack by Real Madrid, and the referee correctly pointed to the spot. The Santiago Bernabeu had been whistling the ref for what they thought were some poor calls up until this point, but they'll be a bit happier after their side were given an equalizer.

Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to the spot, sent Claudio Bravo the wrong way and leveled the score at 1-1. This goal is the first that Bravo has conceded in La Liga in a Barcelona shirt.

While it's a bit less impressive than his open play outings, this is still an absolutely absurd 21st goal for Cristiano Ronaldo in 14 games this season, in all competitions. He's been much more provider for Karim Benzema than scoring threat in this game, but when Madrid finally got a chance, even if it was from the spot, it's unsurprising that he was the man to score.
