Kansas City TV station briefly compares dead body favorably to Royals' Game 1 performance

The Royals lost Game 1 of the World Series 7-1. Wouldn't you rather talk about a dead guy?

The station -- Kansas City's CBS affiliate, KCTV -- quickly apologized:

As someone who sometimes sends tweets out for a company: I feel you, KCTV Twitter person. Sometimes you just write the wrong thing and hit send a little bit too quickly.

That said, there's a tiny vein of truth in there about a Royals fan somewhere being glad to turn off Game 1 so they could watch the story of the body in a river.
