The Colorado Avalanche only have one win through their first seven games. They look to change that against Vancouver on Friday night.
The big game on Friday is probably the last game when the Columbus Blue Jackets visit Corey Perry and the Anaheim Ducks. Perry enters the game tied for the NHL lead in goals with eight and gets to face a Columbus team that just played the night before and pulled off a last-second win over the San Jose Sharks.
In Colorado, the Avalanche try to get back into the win column for only the second time this season when they host the Vancouver Canucks.
It's also a big night for the Connor McDavid race with the Winnipeg Jets, Carolina Hurricanes and Edmonton Oilers all in action.
