Fantasy football rankings, Week 10: Running Backs for PPR, standard leagues

With six more teams on bye, it's time to address our rosters for both Week 10 and the future.

It's Week 10 and we have more than enough information about each running back to assess individual situations moving forward. That includes, but is not limited to, the answer to all of your Giovani Bernard problems, the Cleveland Browns backfield mess, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield mess, any other backfield mess I missed, and the return (?) of Adrian Peterson. In fact, let's quickly address a few of those.

Terrance West - Call it crazy, but that befuddled situation in Cleveland seems to be a thing of the past. West out-touched Ben Tate 16-14 last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Mike Pettine reassured the action by clarifying West "had earned those touches." If that is the case, buy in now as Cleveland's next three opponents have allowed a total of 27 rushing touchdowns.

Jeremy Hill - I'm not aware of the actual severity of Bernard's injury, but I do know that, even when healthy, he's been ineffective. That seems like reason enough for the Cincinnati Bengals to hand the reigns over to Hill, treating Bernard as nothing more than a 10- to 15-touch back moving forward. As for this week, our rankings show just how much we're favoring him. Keep that same confidence moving forward.

Charles Sims - Did I mention the Buccaneers are a mess? Not only is Bobby Rainey sorta good, but there's no doubt in my mind he could creep into the top 10 this week. Of course, he plays for Tampa Bay, so all logic is thrown out the window. If Sims even so much as splits touches with Rainey, I wouldn't mind using them both against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league.

You might be missing Shane Vereen, Branden Oliver, Arian Foster, Ahmad Bradshaw, Alfred Morris, and Jerick McKinnon, but it doesn't matter when the answers are right in front of you.
