Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski brawl on pit road

Fireworks erupted on pit road with Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski going at it.

A fight between Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski broke out on pit road following the NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday. Upset with Keselowski, Gordon stopped on pit road and quickly got out of his car and proceeded to confront Keselowski. A shoving match then ensued with both Keselowski and Gordon both emerging with cuts on their faces.

"He's just a dipshit," said Gordon, bleeding from his mouth in an interview with ESPN. "I don't know he ever won a championship."

A restart with two laps to go saw Keselowski attempt a bold three-wide of Gordon and Johnson when he and Gordon made contact. Gordon suffered a flat tire necessitating a pit stop. He finished a lap down in 29th. Keselowski placed third.

Without victories in the Round 3 of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, Gordon and Keselowski each needed a win Sunday to assure advancement the championship finale Nov. 16 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
