Most experts pick the Chiefs to extend the Raiders' winless streak to 11 games to open this season.

Few rivalries provide the fireworks on par with a match-up between the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders, but this year's games aren't expected to pack as much of a punch. While the Chiefs are ascending the AFC ladder toward the postseason, the Raiders have yet to win a single game and are a serious candidate to match the 2008 Detroit Lions as the only other 0-16 team in NFL history.

As AFC West rivals, the Chiefs and Raiders are matched twice a year each season, and each contest is usually a bitter fight until the end. However, the tale of the tape couldn't be more lopsided at this point. The Chiefs just upended the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday with a strong defense that stopped Marshawn Lynch when it counted on fourth down -- twice. It's hard to imagine the Raiders' suspect running attack and a rookie quarterback like Derek Carr making a dent.

That's why nearly every expert is siding with the Chiefs to win on Thursday night, despite being on the road. Eight of eight panelists over at CBS Sports picked the Chiefs to win on Thursday, and SB Nation's own experts largely followed suit. Only Stephen White believes that Oakland can pull off the upset. Given the short week and history between the teams, anything is possible.
