The Broncos won't have to compete without Emmanuel Sanders this week, as he is listed as probable on the injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is listed as probable for the team's Week 12 matchup versus the Miami Dolphins.
Despite being on the receiving end of a scary hit by Rodney McLeod of the St. Louis Rams, Sanders is on track to play after enduring a concussion. The hit forced Sanders to miss Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but the Broncos wideout returned at full capacity Friday.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy owners may have to wait to set their lineups just to be on the safe side, but because Sanders is listed as probable, it would be more surprising if he didn't play than if he did. Though the Dolphins boast one of the league's better pass defenses, it would be foolish to bench a reliable target for Peyton Manning and the explosive Broncos offense.
With Sanders expected to play at full capacity, and with Julius Thomas ailing, Sanders could receive an uptick in targets. He is once again a legitimate WR1 option this week.
