The Browns' tight end hasn't played since Week 8 and doesn't appear to be close to practicing anytime soon. We break down the fantasy implications.
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron (concussion) didn't practice on Wednesday as he's still in the league's concussion protocol, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot. Cameron hasn't played since Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Last year was Cameron's breakout season and coming into this year, he was drafted in most fantasy leagues under the assumption that he would just continue to realize his potential.
Whether it was because the team lacked a consistent running game early in the season, or because teams could focus on Cameron with Josh Gordon (suspension) out of the lineup, things simply failed to click for the talented pass catcher.
Now things have gone from bad to worse for Cameron. Not only has he not had the standout year that most fantasy owners probably expected, but his long-term health is also now in jeopardy. His owners may be inclined to drop him at this point given that the fantasy playoffs are fast approaching.
