A look at what transpired in the sixth round of the bout between Chris Algieri and Manny Pacquiao.

Chris Algieri seemed to win round five in the eyes of most (though not on the HBO unofficial scorecard) against Manny Pacquiao. He came out in round six needing to continue that, if not build on it.

Early in the round he was doing so but then Pacquiao landed a few hard shots and got Algieri backing up and running away.

Pacquiao then landed a few punches and then Algieri tumbled to the ground, doing a backward roll before getting to his feet. He then went back down, but again said that he slipped on a logo in the corner, similar to the knockdown from earlier in the fight.

With those two knockdowns it seems like there's little to no chance that Algieri can win a decision and he likely doesn't have the ability to stop Pacquiao with punches.

SB Nation scores the round 10-7 Pacquiao, making the fight 59-52 Pacquiao.
