Jonathan Stewart couldn't do much as the feature back last week. Can he get something going in Week 8?

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart got a nice opportunity last week to run as the team's workhorse back. Unfortunately, he couldn't make much of it. He ran for 50 yards on 13 carries and caught one ball for 12 yards. Those who thought that he could put up better stats with DeAngelo Williams sidelined were left thoroughly disappointed. A first-round pick in 2008, nagging injuries have taken their toll on Stewart and he's not a guy that owners should expect much out of, regardless of who else is injured in the Carolina backfield.

Fantasy Impact: To make matters worse, Stewart will take on the Seattle Seahawks this week. While Seattle's run defense actually gives up the 11th fewest points to opposing running backs, Stewart will remain far from a recommended starting option. It would be a stretch to call him an RB3 and owners in leagues less than 14 teams can likely do better for a flex play.
