It's not unheard of for players to offer expensive gifts to get a favored number. Rolexes are pretty standard in this situation. But since Reddick plays for the A's, a team making some baffling moves this offseason (and shuffling the deck most offseasons), he probably knows he can be traded at literally any instant, so you may as well get a free $940 winch while you can!
