HULK SMASH ... backwards.
Early in Zenit St. Petersburg's second leg Europa League match at home against Dutch side PSV, the Russians were up 1-0, up 2-0 on aggregate, and looking to put PSV away. Brazilian star Hulk received the ball just inside the penalty area with space and decided to unleash one of his trademark powerful strikes.
Yeah, that didn't work out so well. Not only did it go out for a throw, it actually went backwards.
Zenit went on to win anyways, with Hulk scoring in the second half en route to a 3-0 win and 4-0 aggregate thrashing.
