Two of the most impressive things a baseball player could do and Adam Jones did them back-to-back like it was nothing.

An outfielder skying over the wall to grab a would-be home run is one of the most incredible plays in baseball. An outfielder tossing a huge, accurate throw to nail a runner on the basepaths is also one of the most incredible plays in baseball. Adam Jones did both inenough time for there to be a Vine of the moment.

The would-be dinger was Evan Longoria's and then the guy attempting the rare first-to-second tag-up attempt was Matt Joyce. The over-the-wall catch admittedly isn't the best of all time, although it's a legit over-the-wall catch.

Joyce probably thought he was safe moving up a base while Jones recovered from his jump just about 300 feet away, in the deepest part of the park.

But nah. Jones recovered in an instant and uncorked a bullet to second base. And instead of a three-run homer, it was a man on third and two outs.
