Sarah Kogod caught up with the Patriots cornerback after practice on Monday to find out some very interesting information about his favorite thing to take pictures of and lots more.
Darrelle Revis fancies a good pair of shoes, so it wasn't a surprise when he revealed that the last thing he took a picture of was, in fact, his footwear. What caught me off guard, however, was just how many pairs of shoes the Patriots cornerback has to choose from when the urge to Instagram hits.
"Actually, I had about 3,000 [pairs]," he shrugged, as if was no big deal. "But I narrowed it down over the years. I gave some away through my charity."
Let's think about this. If Revis, who had a closet in his house specially built to hold his kicks, wore a different pair every day, he wouldn't need to repeat until almost 2023.
At some point, the sneaker enthusiast realized that he needed to get his army of footwear under control.
"I don't need all those shoes," he said. "It's too much."
