We come here not to mock or laugh at the distinctive names of the NFL, but rather to celebrate them.
Through countless hours of watching the NFL and playing fantasy football, we come across a sea of names, many of which are not names regularly ascribed to people. However, the vast majority of the time, we become accustomed to them very quickly. We sometimes lose track of the fact that there are people with these names. It has been quite some time since I stopped spellchecking "Demaryius," a name which you immediately know belongs to a Denver Broncos wide receiver. I probably haven't thought about the fact that my favorite NFL team has an incredibly dependable left tackle named "D'Brickashaw" in about five years.
This quiz will give you five relatively unique first names of NFL players and ask you what team those five players are on. If you're a devoted NFL fan, you will probably instantly pair many of the names with last names, and the team they play for. We tried to avoid the best known players in the league to make it a bit tougher -- no Jadeveon Clowney, no Arian Foster. Rosters are accurate per Aug. 25.
