The last person who made Vince Wilfork laugh was his wife, Bianca, with a joke about Kobe Bryant. Sarah Kogod caught up with the Wilforks after practice in Richmond, Va., on Monday.
If you see Vince Wilfork, chances are his devoted wife Bianca is somewhere nearby. Famously outspoken, she doesn't hesitate to contribute to any conversation, which is why it was a good thing she was there to keep him in line when I asked Wilfork to have a Last Thing chat with me.
Unfortunately for Kobe Bryant, he randomly got caught in the crossfire.
"Who was the last person who made you laugh?" I asked Wilfork.
"Probably my son, David," he replied.
Before I could ask what the tyke said that was so amusing, Bianca corrected her 325-pound lineman husband.
"Uh, uh," she said, setting him straight. "I made you laugh when I said that Kobe was looking like a creeper."
Wilfork cracked up remembering the shot fired at the Lakers' guard
"Alright, alright," he conceded. "My wife was last person who made me laugh."
I'm glad we got that straight. Sorry, Kobe.
