XRM scored 25 points in four minutes, but it was too late for the Seminoles.
With Florida State trailing by 15, freshman guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes hit a three. Then hit some free throws. Then hit a three. And another. And...
Who does Xavier Rathan-Mayes think he is, Andrew Wiggins? http://ift.tt/1wgH6Ts

Rathan-Mayes scored 26 points in 3:36 minutes of game-time. (He was fouled on the last three, and made the free throw, but Andy didn't get it in that screencap.) He went 8-for-8, 6-for-6 from deep, and hit four free throws. That's ridiculous. That gives Klay Thompson's magic 37-point quarter a run for its money.
XRM finished with 35, 30 of which came in the last 4:39. Sadly, FSU's deficit was too big to dig out of. They got the score down to two at 78-76, Tonye Jekiri hit a free throw, and the Seminoles opted to foul Rathan-Mayes instead of letting him shoot a three. (Probably wise.) He hit the first, intentionally missed the second, but the Noles couldn't get a game-tying shot up.
