That and more in Thursday's NBA newsletter. SUBSCRIBE!

Good morning. Let's basketball.

IMPORTANT RESULTS: The Wizards lost by 20 ... in Minnesota. The Hornets beat the Bulls. The Rockets outlasted the Clippers. The Pelicans are surviving, and beat the Nets. Brandon Knight was really good in a Suns win over the Nuggets. The Blazers handled the Spurs. And most importantly, the Kings beat the Grizzlies. NBA Scores Hub, y'all.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL: In-game 360 from the Nets' Markel Brown. This is not a drill.

THUG LIFE: Jusuf Nurkic is GMIB's current life force, and the pure brash contempt on display in this highlight will sustain us at least another month. Thank you, Nurkic. (Sadly he was later rolled off the court in a wheelchair due to a nasty ankle sprain.)

DOUBLE Z-BOW! The only question is how did DeMarcus Cousins resist from flipping out at Zach Randolph. Is it because it's Zach Randolph? If so ... yeah. Earlier, Boogie was frustrated and kicked a chair, which totally freaked out a nearby fan.

LESSON LEARNED: Two Magic fans were chatting instead of watching the game, so Evan Fournier (accidentally) nailed them with a pass. Double doink!

NO, ALEX: Will Barton has had enough of your dunk attempts, Alex Len. Never again.

CP3-OH! Every once in a while Chris Paul throws out a move that just blows you (and the defense) away.

ALL OF THE GOOSEBUMPS: Kevin Garnett's re-introduction to Minnesota fans was marvelous. Late in a rare Wolves win, the fans chanted "KG!" to great effect. I love this.

EXCELLENT NEWS: Craig Sager has defeated leukemia and will soon be back on our TVs more frequently.

YEP: The Rondo honeymoon is over. He was suspended by the team for Wednesday night's loss.

GERALD GREEN ON HOW WE'LL REMEMBER HIM: He's known for his dunks, but wants to be known for more. Good story by Tim Cato. If I could say one thing to Green, I'd tell him "Dunks are great and you should be proud of your dunkcomplishments!"

LARRY ON LARRY: Larry Sanders explains why he's not in the NBA any longer at The Players' Tribune.

Happy Thursday. See you next time.
