Fantasy owners need to get Tate in their fantasy lineups.

Saying the Detroit Lions have injury problems at the skill positions is like saying Cookie Monster likes chocolate chip. Receiver Calvin Johnson is extremely banged up and a game-time call for Sunday, but the Lions might not want to risk it with a potential playoff run looming. Even if he plays, he'll likely be limited.

Additionally, running back Reggie Bush is doubtful and their top three tight ends, Eric Ebron, Joseph Fauria and Brandon Pettigrew, are all not going to contribute against the Atlanta Falcons.

Subsequently, receiver Golden Tate is going to be the man this week. The Falcons have been the 18th-toughest matchup for fantasy receivers, and Tate will be getting a ton of targets against them. He's had a whopping 11.5 targets per game over his last four outings and at least seven catches in all of those games. He's also had at least 116 receiving yards in three of those four.

Fantasy impact: Start him.
