Harry Doyle bobbleheads for all (read: not all)!
The Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday unveiled a series of solid promotional nights for the upcoming season. The best of the bunch is "Major League" night, which includes -- for the first 4,000 fans in attendance, anyway -- a Harry Doyle talking bobblehead.
What will the talking Doyle say? The Brewers have a decent offense, so the "One hit ... that's all we got, one goddamn hit?" line might not be the best choice. Perhaps he'll say something about the club apparently being too cheap to have enough bobbleheads of a character played by the Brewers' real-life radio broadcaster to satisfy all the fans in attendance, but probably not. Either way, that got us thinking about other cool "Major League" stadium giveaway items that should be in the cards.
- Willie Mays Hayes batting gloves
- Model bullpen car with removable Jake Taylor figure
- Roger Dorn contract urinal cakes
- Rachel Phelps life-size cardboard cutout
- Lou Brown voice transformer
