Fans chant 'Ovi sucks', throw beer on Alex Ovechkin after Letang slash

Just another night for Ovechkin in Pittsburgh.

A slash by Alex Ovechkin literally turned the Capitals' game in Pittsburgh on Tuesday into a beer league match.

Midway through the third period, Ovechkin cut Penguins defenseman Kris Letang's feet out from under him with a slash that send him headfirst into the boards.

Letang (who has had concussion issues this season) was clearly shaken up and had to leave the game. No penalty was called, but Penguins center Maxim Lapierre decided to get his own revenge on Eric Fehr on the next faceoff. Mayhem ensued.

And while all of this was going on, Letang returned to the Pittsburgh bench and a Penguins fan dumped beer on Ovi!
