The Los Angeles Kings will take on the rival San Jose Sharks outdoors at Levi's Stadium on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Kings are on a tear with a perfect 6-0-0 record over their last six games. The Kings will look to extend that streak to seven games against the San Jose Sharks this Saturday night in a warm weather outdoor game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

Los Angeles has climbed back up the betting board and is now going off at 12/1 odds to win the Stanley Cup. San Jose could have a tough time cooling off the Kings in this outdoor event, especially since the designated home team is just 4-8-2 all-time in NHL outdoor games.

Hitting their seemingly annual mid-season slump, the Los Angeles Kings went 2-5-4 over an 11-game stretch from the start of January to the beginning of February. However, once the team's playoff hopes started to dwindle they pulled together to string together six straight wins.

Goaltender Jonathan Quick and the defense have played well, but the offense has really been at the center of Los Angeles' hot streak with 3.83 goals per game. The Kings are 5-2 in their last seven games against San Jose on the NHL betting lines at the sportsbooks.

The Sharks entered Thursday night's game against Dallas in the midst of a month-long slump going just 2-6-1 over their last nine games. The last six games of that slump saw San Jose's defense and goaltending give up an ugly 4.33 goals per game. San Jose will need to do a better job in the defensive zone if they want to stop the surging Kings offense on Saturday.

The Kings participated in a preseason outdoor game back in 1991 when they played against the Rangers in Las Vegas - a market that could be in line for an NHL expansion team.

Los Angeles then suffered a 3-0 loss in an outdoor game against the Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium last year, but the team wasn't playing this well back then and that experience could help them prepare for this year's event; the Kings could be a solid play this Saturday at Levi's Stadium.
