Only two games will be played in the NHL on Monday.

The NHL will feature a light schedule with inter-conference matchups on Monday.

The evening kicks off in New Jersey, where the Arizona Coyotes will prowl around against the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m. ET. The Devils are streaking and looking for their fourth consecutive win on their longest homestand of the season. Anyone guilty of mocking general manager and coach Lou Lamoriello when he declared the Devils still alive in the playoff hunt a few weeks ago are eating their words now. New Jersey is just two points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Coyotes, meanwhile, are well out of the conversation in the Western Conference. Arizona has lost five in a row, with no regulation wins in eight games, and have the third-worst record in the NHL.

The late game on Monday features the Detroit Red Wings visiting the Anaheim Ducks. Detroit is fresh off a crazy 7-6 overtime win in Dallas on Saturday, where the Wings mounted a late four-goal comeback win in overtime. They'll be without Henrik Zetterberg, who was injured in that contest. Anaheim defeated the Wings in their only other matchup earlier this season.

Here is a complete look at the schedule. All times are Eastern
