Chicago played its worst game of the season at home against Boston. Meanwhile, Ryan Miller was injured for the Canucks in New York.

Everyone in the Vancouver Canucks organization has to be holding their breath after goalie Ryan Miller had to leave a game on Sunday with an injury.

The Canucks lost one of their best players early in the second period against the Islanders, when winger Jannik Hansen lost his balance and slid right into Miller.

It looked like Hansen connected with his goalie's knee at a weird angle, and in the ensuing play Miller struggled mightily to even move without pain.

Miller laid on the ice for a few moments before being helped to the locker room. Vancouver hasn't updated Miller's status, but you can pretty safely assume it will call it a lower-body injury. After watching how much pain he was in, it's likely he won't return.

Miller has enjoyed a successful first full season with the Canucks, with a 2.49 goals against average and a .912 save percentage in 43 games.
