World No. 1 Novak Djokovic continued his domination of Melbourne on Sunday, beating No. 6 Andy Murray in four sets in the final of the 2015 Australian Open. It marks Djokovic's fifth Aussie title and eighth overall Grand Slam. It's also the third time the Serbian has defeated Murray in the Aussie final, following 2011 and 2013.
Djokovic is now 5-0 in Australian Open finals. Murray is 0-4, with the three losses to Djokovic and one to Roger Federer in 2010.
The pair split the first two sets of Sunday's match, each winning a tiebreak. Djokovic then cruised 6-3 and 6-0 in the final two sets to claim the trophy.
Only seven men in history have more singles Grand Slam titles than Djokovic's eight now, including all-time leader Federer with 17. With the victory Djokovic tied Roy Emerson as the all-time leader in Aussie titles with five.
The next Grand Slam is the French Open in late May. Djokovic has never won the title at Roland Garros, though he made the Finals last year and in 2012. Murray has never advanced to the title match at Roland Garros.
