Roma weren't lacking for chances against Hellas Verona, but they were having a hard time putting them on target early in the match. That is, until Francesco Totti got bored.
That's just not fair. That kind of shot, curling away from his momentum and in to a postage stamp's worth of space while being closed down, just shouldn't be possible. But this is Totti, and Totti just doesn't care about what you think should be possible. He's just gonna do his Totti things.
The goal was also the 240th Serie A goal of Totti's career. Safe to say that he's done pretty well for himself, still playing at a high level at 38 years young.
