Despite a report to the contrary, it appears the situation is exactly the same as it's been.
Marshawn Lynch's status for the 2015 season has been the the major focus of Seattle's offseason. Seattle general manager John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll have both said they want Lynch to return next season. Seattle has even made a substantial offer. Everyone is just waiting for Lynch to decide if he wants to play next season.
It looked like Lynch made that decision on Saturday.

That would be Lynch's agent denying La Canfora's report. The denial was emphatic.

La Canfora responded to the denials, taking a significant step back from saying a deal was in place.

So to summarize: The Seahawks have a significant offer on the table -- possibly worth $12 million next season. Lynch has yet to accept the offer and is apparently still deciding whether he wants to play next season. Lynch could very well sign a new deal but for now the situation remains in a holding pattern, just as it's been since the Super Bowl ended.
