After revealing a superb look for the Everton's home kit, an effort that marked Umbro's return to the Premier League, the Double Diamond brand has revealed a new away kit for the Toffees.
The new kit is inspired by the black uniforms that the club first wore in the early 1880s as the home kit of the "black watch." while Jon Snow may know nothing, it is pretty easy to tell, even for him, that this is a solid look.
The new away shirt is almost entirely black save for a few white accents that really stand out against the dark background. The shirt sponsor, technical sponsor, and club crest are all white and match the piping that runs up the both sides of the shirt.
The top also carries a few subtle touches that connect the away kit to the blue home number thanks to a blue accent on the inside of the collar. The ventilation holes that are found under the arms, near the back of the shirt, are outlined in blue and are the shape of Prince Rupert's Tower, the object in Everton's crest.
The shorts that go with the kit are also black with white piping that goes the length of each leg on the sides of the shorts. The socks are also black with a pair of thin white hoops at the top.
Speaking about the new kit, manager Roberto Martinez said:
"I know all our fans like to see the new kits when they are revealed and I am sure that they will enjoy the black away strip.
"This colour kit was associated with Everton in the very early years of our football club and our supporters always like a historical link. This new away kit has a modern and stylish look to it and I am looking forward to seeing the players perform in it."

Tim Howard's away goalkeeper kit is based on the same template that Hull City's goalkeepers will wear at home.Howard's kit is mostly purple with a tonal section on the shirt and accents that match the slightly lighter purple on both the shorts and socks.
