News broke on Tuesday night that Patrick Peterson of the Arizona Cardinals was the league's highest-paid cornerback following a new five-year extension. He promptly tweeted the news.

Richard Sherman was a little miffed by the announcement, especially given he's widely hailed as the league's best corner. Naturally he was ready to retweet interesting comparisons between the two.
