Hyde FC can't use their trialists names, so when they live tweet friendlies they use the names of left wing revolutionaries and Hollywood actors.

It started on July 26th. First, heart breaking news that live tweeted a sixth division team's preseason match would be difficult because they couldn't use trialists' names. Then, an ingenious solution.

Problem solved. Go get 'em, Lenin, Castro and crew.

But the real key was the commitment to the cause. This wasn't just a matter of picking up some names. It was about the full, immersive experience.

It was a good time, but that was it. One match, one schtick and the end. Except not.

Four days later, they had another friendly, and more trialists. Once again, they couldn't use their names so they did what any sensible club would do -- they named the trialists after Hollywood actors.

Well maybe not all Hollywood. Some are San Fernando Valley.

And then it became a quote-off.

The revolutionaries got a win on penalties, but it all went wrong for the actors as Burnley triumphed, 3-2. Most importantly, it happened, and Hyde FC was relevant, if only for five minutes of Internet fame (that is equal to 6.2 seconds in real time).
