It's time for Manchester United to recapture some of the confidence they held going into the start of the Premier League season. With a new coach that had, quite surprisingly, guided Netherlands into third place at the World Cup, many were sure that the Red Devils were set to overcome last season. Some were even calling them title contenders.
Now, going into the third week of the season, United have captured just one point. That came against Sunderland last week. The first week brought a 2-1 defeat to Swansea.
Fortunately for Louis van Gaal, his side take on newcomers Burnley this time around. Burnley, too, have lost to Swansea, and spent the first week of the season getting beaten 3-1 by Chelsea. It's only the end of August, but already, the Clarets look set to head straight back to the Championship.
Ángel di María has been thrown into the starting lineup for Manchester United, where he'll be helped along by Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie. Sean Dyche is sticking with the same starting lineup that lost at Swansea last weekend.
