The entire stadium showed their appreciation for the Yankee great
Derek Jeter departed the 2014 All-Star game in the top of the fourth inning as the crowd gave him a standing ovation. He received hugs as he went down the dugout leading some to believe he might be traded shortly. The crowd demanded a curtain call and The Captain obliged. His fellow All-Stars were heard saying "love you" as they hugged him. Jeter exits the game 2-2 with a double and a single, both to opposite field.
