Seraphin has agreed to sign for the qualifying offer the Wizards extended him.

Kevin Seraphin has accepted the Washington Wizards' qualifying offer, signing for one-year and $3.8 million, reports Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. Seraphin will play out his expiring contract and will become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

Seraphin played just 10.9 minutes last season for the Wizards after putting up career-high numbers during the 2012-13 season. His addition likely marks the end of the Wizards' free agency acquisitions, which were headlined by the addition of Paul Pierce. Washington has one open roster spot remaining.

Washington made the $3.8 million offer to Seraphin to make him a restricted free agent at the opening of this free agency period, but has reached agreements with Kris Humphries, DeJuan Blair and Drew Gooden to fill out their frontcourt depth since then.

Seraphin was selected with the 17th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft but hasn't found his niche in the league yet. He fell out of the Wizards' rotation last season and played in just 53 games.
