Eight teams battled it out in Las Vegas as Summer League reaches the semifinals, with Charlotte, Houston, Sacramento and Washington advancing.
Las Vegas Summer League is winding down with just four games at the Thomas & Mack Center Saturday. Here are the results of the quarterfinal round.
Hornets 82, Knicks 79
Tim Hardaway Jr.'s high-output run at Las Vegas Summer League comes to an end with a 27-point game in which he shot 9-of-20 from the field. The Hornets used an all-around approach to take down New York, led by Justin Brownlee's 16 points. Noah Vonleh notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. P.J. Hairston went 5-of-12 for 15 points.
The Knicks struggled from three-point range, shooting 22.7 percent from deep.
Rockets 78, Hawks 71
The Adreian Payne train and Hawks came to a stop as the Rockets move on to the semifinals. Payne had a tough night, scoring 11 points but shooting just 4-of-15. Mike Muscala and Dennis Schroeder each added in 16 for Atlanta.
The Rockets were led by Donatas Motiejunas, who finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Kings 80, Bulls 61
Doug McDermott sat out of the Bulls' final Summer League game and Chicago missed his sharpshooting. The Bulls shot just 25 percent from beyond the arc as the Kings rolled over them to advance to the semifinals. Tony Snell ended his strong Summer League showing with a 20-point game.
Sacramento had five players who scored in double-digits, and Nik Stauskas added in nine points.
Wizards 95, Spurs 94 (3 OT)
Glen Rice Jr. scored 36 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Washington to a one-point win against the Spurs in a three-overtime classic. Included in Rice's game-high point total was a buzzer-beating three-pointer at the end of the second overtime to force the decisive period.
Otto Porter added 27 points in the win for the Wizards, who will face Sacramento in Sunday's semifinals. Austin Daye scored 27 points to lead San Antonio and grabbed seven rebounds in defeat.
