Living in a dorm is tough and lonely. Here are some ideas for making it feel more like home.

Charles Tillman is an NFL Pro Bowler. Charles Tillman was the 2013 Walter Payton Man of the Year. This isn't a story about Charles Tillman, not really -- it's a story about Peanut's room.

Some teams choose to hold training camp away from their own facilities, normally at a University. It's the kind of move that allows an organization to avoid paying for a ludicrous number of hotel rooms while playing off this idea of "back to basics" and feigning humility on the part of their players.

Initially this photo would lead you to believe Tillman is staying in a place out of the movie Hostel but in reality he's just a dude returning to college life. That foil? According to the comments on his post it was put up by Tillman himself, to block out the light -- obviously. The bed frame? Gone to free up more floor space. That's just sensible living.

Sure it looks drab, it's a dorm room. Here are some low-rent ways Peanut can spruce up his environment:

  • A poster of van Gogh's "Starry Night"

  • Lava lamp.

  • Book shelf made of cinder blocks and 2x4s.

  • 19" color TV with Nintendo 64 and copy of Goldeneye for late night multiplayer sessions. No Oddjob, picking Oddjob is whack.

  • One of those things that's four steel balls suspended by wires that ceaselessly clacks back and forth when you start it.

  • Ramen.
