With friendlies happening all over the world over the weekend, it was great to see the new adidas boot colorways in action and what better place to do that than in Major League Soccer?

Late last week, adidas made a set of new colorways official for their modern boot silos that would succeed the Battle Pack in league play this season. We have already featured the new Predator Instinct infrared colorway, but in addition to that, there is a new Solar Blue look as well as vibrant updates for the 11Pro and F50 adiZero. With friendlies happening all over the world over the weekend, it was great to see the new looks in action and what better place to do that than in Major League Soccer?

Seattle Sounders took on Tottenham Hotspur in a friendly at CenturyLink field on Saturday and plenty of players turned out in updated adidas colorways. DeAndre Yedlin was one of a number of players that wore the new Predator Instinct in the extremely difficult-to-miss Solar Blue colorway. The thrilling friendly ended in a 3-all draw.

Lamar Neagle couldn't score against Spurs but he came close on more than one occasion, wearing the Predator Instincts in Infrared.

Elsewhere in the league, Sporting Kansas City kept pace with Seattle in the Supporter's Shield race thanks to a 2-1 win against the LA Galaxy at Sporting Park. Dom Dwyer nearly added a goal for SKC, but ultimately failed to hit the back of the net as he was foiled by goalkeeper Jaime Penedo. Still, it was Dwyer doing work in the new Neon Pink and Solar Blue F50.

New England Revolution attacker, Steve Neumann, was one of the few players wearing the adidas 11Pro in Solar Blue. The Revs slumped to their seventh-straight league defeat as they lost 2-0 on the road to FC Dallas. Neumann's 11Pro boots feature a vibrant blue color and a black, enlarged version of the pattern that covered the boot during the summer with the Battle Pack colorway.

The final boot colorway that did to make an appearance over the weekend was the Nitrocharge in Black / Running White / Neon Orange. A number of players were wearing the Nitrocharge in match play, including Seattle's Osvaldo Alonso, who scored a stunning goal against Spurs in the Earth Pack colorway. Gonzalo Pineda, who also scored, did it in the Samba Pack colorway. However, it was Real Salt Lake's Tony Beltran that wore the new look as his side drew 1-1 with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
