Despite being officially unveiled by Nike last December, the Ordem ball didn't see much action on the pitch outside of World Cup qualifying and friendlies for Swoosh-sponsored teams like England and the United States. That is changing for the 2014/15 season in Europe as the company's flagship ball is set to get a starring role in three of the world's most popular leagues.

Showing up with a mostly white body with plenty of black dotting the surface, the Ordem ball comes with a blue-tinted panels and accents for the Premier League, orange for La Liga, and pink for Serie A. Expect to see plenty of the ball in play throughout the next ten or so months.

The Nike Ordem ball features 12 fuse-welded panels that are based on the traditional 32 panel design, something that Nike had used for years with its top-of-the-line match balls leading up to this. The ball features Nike's RaDaR technology (essentially the paint job) to help players see the ball and judge its flight quicker while AEROW TRAC grooves compose and cut into each of the "panels" to help keep the ball's flight true and accurate.

All of those features are part of a three-layer casing system that surrounds a poly-blend wrapped and free-floating carbon latex bladder. Latex bladders do not retain air as well as butyl bladders but offer a much more natural feel when striking or passing the ball.
