Stage 14 of the 2014 Tour de France saw a rookie from Poland take the win after he went on the attack and held the lead. Rafal Majka of Team Tinkoff-Saxo picked up his first win on the Tour de France, finishing Stage 14 with a time of five hours, eight minutes and 27 seconds.
Italian rider Vincenzo Nibali of Astana Pro Team, current holder of the yellow shirt, finished in second place on the stage and maintained his overall lead on the 2014 Tour. There was not much change in the overall standings of the 2014 Tour, as Nibali maintained his overall lead while Slovakian rider Peter Sagan from Team Cannondale held onto the overall points lead.
