The new shirt, produced by Umbro, showcases Hull City's traditional amber and black vertical stripes by putting very little else in the way of them.

Hull City are set to wear their orange (sorry, amber) and black-striped home kits early and often this upcoming season as they are set to compete on fronts both at home and abroad. After reaching the FA Cup Final last season, but ultimately losing to Arsenal, who guaranteed European competition for themselves by virtue of a top-four finish in the league, the Tigers earned themselves a Europa League spot.

The new shirt, produced by Umbro, showcases Hull City's traditional amber and black vertical stripes by putting very little else in the way of them. Umbro's second Premier League effort after Everton's new home kit doesn't provide much in the way of frills but it is a clean and classic look for the Tigers.

Equipped with a crew neck collar, the amber shirt's black vertical stripes run the entire length of the body down to the drop hem, a feature that Umbro say provides a better fit for players and fans alike. There are mesh inserts underneath both arms while the back of the shirt features laser-cut ventilation holes to keep players comfortable. Hull City's new sponsor, 12BET (not to be confused with 188BET, SBOBET, bet365, TLC88, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera) bears a white logo with black stroke so as not to disturb the stripes too much.

The home kit is completed by black shorts with an amber stripe that runs up both legs and amber socks.

The home goalkeeper kit is purple and features a tonal diagonal cut across the body, splitting the home shirt into a darker and lighter version of the color with each side's respective sleeve carrying the same hue. The shorts are the same color as the darker purple, as are the socks save for a thick band at the top which is comprised of the lighter purple.

Speaking about the new kits and Hull City's Umbro deal, manager Steve Bruce said:

"Everyone at the club is delighted to be back wearing the Umbro diamond at what is such an exciting time in Hull City's history.

"Umbro has an unrivalled football heritage and, of course, I enjoyed success whilst wearing their shirts during my playing career.

"They are an instantly recognizable brand within the game and have always had a reputation for quality -- and that's where we want to be as a club for many years to come."
